1. What is your favorite episode (or season, if you're not sure) of Friends and why? What's your favorite quote (from that episode, or another)?
My favorite episode is "The One With the Rumor." I love every episode so much it can't even be described, but this is just one episode where everyone is together almost the entire time, and it's hilarious. I don't really like the idea of my favorite episode being a holiday one because that's a category in itself, but right now I just love it so much. The tables really turn with Rachel's penis and Ross' affair with the librarian, etc. "Only when it was damp!!!" lmao. Amazing use of a guest star, and a bunch of references to the foreign guy, which I love.
My favorite quote changes a lot, but I've always really loved this one (and it's currently my #1):
Ross: Joey, do you have a minute? I'd like to talk to you about something I'm really uncomfortable talking about.
Joey: Sure. How about, uh, you showering with your mom?
Ross: I actually had a topic in mind!
A moment I love that isn't really a line is when Ross and Monica's dad is talking about how old his suit is, and they all hit the ground when Monica is at the door, turn off all the lights, and you hear this huge rip and he goes, "Crap." That's one of those things I basically watched a million times laughing my ass off until it got old.
2. Nina Myers knocks on your door hours after day 1. She's escaped and is looking for refuge while Jack hunts her down. Do you let her in?
Can I ignore the fact that she'd probably kill me if I didn't let her and kill me when she left if I said yes? I probably wouldn't. In my happy fantasy brain it would be awesome, but I'm such a square and would be totally unwilling to accept the consequences of letting her in. Laws scare me. And Jack Bauer scares me. In my happy fantasy brain, yes, and we would have an amazing few days, and I would join her and kick ass and maybe make her loyalties flexible so I can go be a good guy.
3. Where would you like to see House and Stacy hook up? Take 'hook up' to mean whatever you like...
The clinic, when he's supposed to be working there. Best sex ever. I would love it in the sense of, like, they can't wait. Granted, House is too cool for that, but I would love to see them be really, really into it. That's something I'd love to see.
4. You win a lottery and get to go to dinner with any two celebrities. Who are they and where do you go?
Mary Lynn Rajskub and Tina Fey. We'd have to go somewhere really, really lame that we can mock. Or like, the Hard Rock Cafe, so we can mock Mary Lynn. They're both just so incredible and hilarious that it would absolutely make my life to hang out with both of them at once. I mean, even one would be amazing, clearly. They're my type of people. I basically want to be Tina, and Mary Lynn is one of my favorite people in the world, so it'd be fairly life-owning. And as long as we have material for witty banter, I'm good.
5. Describe a date you'd like to see Tom and Karen go on.
I'd love for it to be extremey awkward. Okay, so, they go see a movie. And he tries to hold her hand halfway through it and she doesn't let him, so...clearly, awkward times. And he gets a huge thing of popcorn and just...completely digs in, making a total ass out of himself. Then they go out for coffee after the movie and she's thinking it's the worst idea of her life to go out with him, but eventually face to face he wins her over and there are a few cute moments, and they go home and have sex. But then in the morning it's really awkward again. I really love the awkwardness, if you couldn't tell. If they had a permanent thing, I would love for them to be horrible at handling it at work. That would just be an amazing scenario to play with, I think.
