I love buying a CD just when I know one song and then finding so many other great songs on the CD. Even though I bought this CD OVER a year ago with ally, I still think it's a great CD. Remember that song, ally... " I met her down at a pineapple parking lot, she said I love you more, I said I love you not. And all the while I stood in line at the paintshop."
Break has been going great and as usual it's almost over and I wish I had another week like all the schoolcraft kids!!! I don't know what it is, but when I'm at home I rarely go on the internet because I have a MILLION other things to do. Not saying that I don't have a MILLION things going on at school or anything...
Break kinda started out with a bang. Kristy came to pick me up and as we pulled on my street I realized I left my keys in the dorm!!! Kristy took me to work with her like I was her little kid! Butka came to pick me up after I sat there for about 45 minutes looking at magazines!! I got to go down to Cole's dads and go to La Fiesta with his family and grandparents! Even though it's the middle of the country, I still like going down there and it's nice. He ended up staying down there till Christmas morning, too.
The Ya*Ya Christmas Shindig was lots of fun. I loved all the cute gifts I got and had fun making our craft this year and just talking with them out in the hot tub!
Christmas Eve we went to my mom's cousin Laurice's house. Hello large Bloomfield Hills mansion. haha. That's how it always is...one HUGE house after another...It was kinda sad because I guess I'm not considered a kid anymore b/c my aunt sofie didn't give me an ornament b/c I'm in college now. I was actually kinda sad, but I still got to sit on santas lap! We went to mass with my uncle toby, aunt chris and the boys. We were terrible. Talking and laughing the whole time, but thats what I love about them.
Christmas day, I went over to Cole's for awhile since his grandparents are up from North Carolina! He got me some really cute gifts and I AM glad he didn't get me any jewelry. He's not like some guys who can buy affordable jewelry. He goes and gets something REALLY nice and I feel terrible for how much I find out it costs in the end! Cole came over to my house later for christmas and watched some movies and he got to open his gifts then. We usually go to my dads side of the family on christmas day, but a bunch of them were in HAWAII at someone in the family's plantation. So we basically had it at our house!
New Years Eve I went to the Butkas and actually had a really good time. I didn't think I would exactly fit right in after I found out Kristy and possibly ally and jennifer weren't coming. I thought I would be the only non-senior, but even though I wasn't, I loved it and everyone was so nice! I had a fun night drinking my sparkling wine and eating way too much food!
Cole and I went to the lights for the second year and opened some gifts there as tradition! I guess you can say this year has started out a little interesting for me actually. My very close friends know whats been going on and I appreciate them not saying anything about it and being there for me! I think I called Ida, Kristy, Nicole, and Ally all in the same day for advice and such! I spent the night at Ida's a few nights ago also and we had such a fun time in Ann Arbor at the Bubble Tea place and Pinball Pete's. She won me a pool ball! yay! ha. Kristy and I went to our place for lunch and to Pleasantville. We had lots to talk about and we still dream of the day we can live there all of us together in the same neighborhood!
I needed my night out at starbucks with Butka last night and then Cole stopped by for awhile. I can say that things have been changing for us, but only for the better. I find myself now more in love with him than I was honestly before break started!
I watched the Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants and cried a few times throughout the movie. I absolutley loved the books and was so happy when cole bought them for me over the summer, and picked up the movie for me at best buy(in widescreen..grr..haha). I'm not sure which I liked better though...some things really surprised me in the movie.
