This song seriously makes me cry. Geeze. There are soo many songs out there that remind me of my dad or mom and they just make me cry!! Not because I haven't seen them in almost two weeks...but just because I love them soo much! haha anyways.
Last Friday I tried out for Flute/Piccolo Section leader in the Marching Band. First everyone who tried out(which was 13 people) had to fill out these applications and then based on your application, a few people would be called back to audition on friday. So me and four other girls got called back! Allready, I was happy to be called back because I was the only freshman called back and two of the girls are going to be juniors next year, the other two seniors. Two are music majors, three are in some kind of ensemble, and I think they all in the the band sorority/fraternity. So right away I was happy to get called back with those four girls who are soo involved. I practiced my flute a lot and then found out the day of the audition that I didn't need to play. I also found out about an hour before that I needed to dress up! Whoops! I wore heathers pants, allys shoes and my shirt!! It was great and I thank them a lot. The girls who ended up getting section leader were the two music majors and one of the senior girls who is in the ensemble and sorority. I'm totally fine/happy with not getting section leader because out of like 9 freshman who tried out, I was the one to get called back...so thats how I look at it...and then there will be next year!!
Today is the last day of classes, and finals go tomorrow-wednesday. I had a physics exam today and I hope I did well. I feel pretty good about it! I also have my music final exam today even though finals aren't supposed to start until tomorrow. It was supposed to be on friday, but she couldn't be there and decided to put it on our last day. So I have a final everyday basically. Today music, tomorrow World Regions, Friday Psychology and Monday Physics. I'm pretty scared for that physics one because it is my ONLY cummulative final exam and I have the lowest of my grades in that class, and it is my hardest! I guess Ally and I will have to go blow/eat some more bubbles to prepare for finals!
I'm very excited to come home on Monday though. Kristy is pickin' me up and we're going to our spot that we haven't been to in months!! I'm going shopping with my mom on tuesday, and I have an allergy shot!! woo. Wednesday night I'm going down to coles dad's with him and spending the night. I feel bad because I really like his dad and step mom...they just live so far away and I really don't see them unless it's an "occasion"( like the past two weddings we went to!), so it will be nice to just go down there and see them! I also just wanna be able to spend some more time with Cole being that I see him enough, but I still miss him so much. I last saw him on saturday and he's comin up friday! I can't wait for the FOURTH YA*YA Christmas Shindig!! Jo's coming, so that will be very nice! Holy crap! Ida and I will also get to do our New Years tradition for like the 10th or 11th year in a row...we can't even remember! I can play some James Bond with Butka, finally(once I get my controller from Kristy).I'm also babysitting a few times for nate and jenn and I'm so happy to be able to see them over break because I really do love them!
I'm just soo excited to go home and spend time with everyone for the holidays! :)
Tonight is the Putnam Phi Putnam Snowflake party in Waltons Basement! I'm gonna go make myself a gingerbread house, eat some holiday food and learn how to make some gifts with my second floor girls!
Time to go eat lunch and study for my music final at 2:00!
