Easter Sunday
I found out two very interesting things about the pastor at my family's church today during one of the two services that i go to a year.
First of all, this man is obsessed w/ postsecret. He preached about secrets, and how they tear people up, and if you want to, you can give up your hurts to Jesus and so on. He has actually met the guy who started the website, read his books, etc.
Secondly, and much more funny (to me at least), is his belief in young earth creationism. He also said that the only real reason he believes in (the christian) God is becuase he wants to, he wants to believe that this world can have a "fairy tale ending" (an exact quote).
He seems a bit weird, but then again, he did grow up in southern california during the late sixties, early seventies.
