down with blizzard!
blizzard, the makers of warcraft, not the blizzard blizzard. heres my rant:
1. its my 2 day off combo. u know, after 7 or 8 days of work in a row (i cant remember which). all i wanna do is play my game. is that so hard to ask?
2. so they make patches to fix things that they screwed up on. u know, doing emergency maintence right after the regular one on like the same 20 servers over and over and over and over...kinda like the energy bunny, but more annoying, because they prevent whole servers from playing. because of these problems caused directly by their incompetance, lucas and i couldnt play for multiple times.
3. so heres the patch, that they made to fix these...emergency maitenences. problem is, the patch wont download. because it has a bug! whole servers went down, including the one that i wanted to play on today with lucas! the people on the server blackhand, on the other hand, got dumped on my server that i played on like an hour ago! so what does that cause? LAG!
4. because of this patch, guess what? more servers go down! and guess what? more people cant play! and when people cant play, people get mad! (reminds me of a childhood favorite book: "because a bug went hachoo") the forums and website were down most of the day too. so u know those plans i had with my guild to go into an instance? GONE! my items that i put up for auction? no one was there to bid, so i lost like 30 silver that way! grrr....
5. and guess what they snuck into the patches? they dwarfed my rogue! before, if you build up combo points and u miss, u dont lose them. now...u do. apparently. wtf? people who dont know anything about rogues say "big deal". well, its like a warrior building up all the rage they have, then losing it because they miss (which would probably be close to everytime...not that i'm saying that should happen, since the warriors already suck enough). i guess its time to start making that priest i always wanted to make...
so, really, a frustrating day. although i did get several labs done, and my semi research proposal started for my class done as well, so i guess its not bad.
on the bright side of things....
when i was finally able to log on, full of rage (not the kind warriors have. just my own), i got challenged to a duel by none other than a level 33 paladin in my guild, and promised me heavy armor kits if i won. so, we ran outside the gates of stormwind, and started dueling. luckily for me, and unluckily for him...i just spent my talent point on the ability "preparation"...which resets all my timers for all my abilities. when he lost, i got to hear stupid miserable whining like "i couldn't heal. that why you won" ...in which i responded "yes, thats because i prevented u from doing so, u dolt". anyway, the pali gave me 4 heavy armor kits for my victory. very cool ^^
for now though, sleep, since i have to be at work very very soon.
