ahh, yes, spring. perfect time for people to get sick, go to hospitals and their local 24 hour pharmacies, and cough and hack their germs all over the fucking universe. so after spending a day and a half at work feeling like complete and utter shit (more on that in a sec), i decided to go to the ER...where i spent from 11:30 pm to 6:30 am waiting to be seen. ironically, the doctor told me that i should have been seen a long time ago (AFTER my 7 hour wait), and got lectured about going to work instead of seeing a doctor, and told me not to work the next 3 days (hahaha, try to tell my work that. hahahaha). speaking of work, my supportive and caring coworkers let me man the drive-thru, where i had to scream and hollar at people with my increasingly sore throat, and also had to listen to screaming and holloring and utterly rude people diss me and my pharmacist because estradiol does not come in a 5 mg tablet (so we had to call the doctor to clarify) - or because a percocet prescription wasnt signed (because thats illegal)- or because augmentin costs a whole ton of money and because I SET THE PRICES, HES GOING TO DIE (while all the while demanding that he get brand, instead of the generic, which is 50 dollars cheaper). after i got home from this work hell and hospital hell, the first thing that my parents asked/stated where: 1) do i have to pay for it (which they don't, thankfully i pay 60 bucks a month on insurance) and 2) you can use any silverware, and if u touch anything or go anywhere other than outside your room, you're going to have to leave. (dont worry, i'm working on that right now). so nice to have parents who care, isn't it?
on the bright side of things, i have a new favorite game...world of warcraft. level 27 night elf rogue, and she rocks. i got promoted in my guild to the status of officer, giving me much more power to invite people and promote or demote people. also drew up another rogue to play with lucas and his druid, which will be mucho fun cause now i get to play with him, on top of being a better rogue. really want to play now too.
