(no subject)
yesterday I had on and off the right side of my face go crazy. my eye would get red and itchy and my sinuses would swell up, then it would go away for a minute and then happen again. I thought it was allergies.
Overnight and this morning I'm almost totally congested in sinuses and nasally. eye itchiness has gone away so maybe a cold? of course breathing through my mouth, and that's normal. But then I woke up about 4am with my throat and mouth feeling incredibly dry and swollen. I was amazed that I could breathe. I managed to get to the bathroom and all I could do at first was run some cool water and splash it into my mouth. after a few minutes i could gargle and cough a little. My uvula at the back of my mouth was swollen and felt like it was pasted to one side. I managed after a while to take some nsaids one little pill at a time, i could barely swallow and had to use a straw. Then at work today, I looked in the restroom mirror and found a bunch of busted capillaries around my eyes. so, i could have a cold, i cold have had a severe allergic reaction resulting in some anaphylaxis and sleep apnea, or some combination thereof. I got extremely flush at work so i came home to rest. The swelling has gone down almost completely. I'm almost afraid to take a nap. I cant think of what I did different that could have caused the reaction.

fucking ants! I think I found where they were coming in. By the water heater. so I sprayed poison, yes, poison! around and peeled the loose bit of carpet back to check under and sure enough, there was a trail. So I poofed some borax under the carpet. Hopefully they will go away. it's a neverending battle.
