"Strengths of Materials" can suck a fuck!
I was lucky enough to get my hands on an advanced copy of the new Alkaline Trio album "Crimson" yesterday. All I have to say is hot damn this album is fucking amazing. The album is completely different from anything that they have ever done. I really anticipate seeing what everyone thinks of it when it hits stores. So go out and by it on May 24th, do it!
Other than that, my life has just been busy, I really can't sum it up any better than that. Taking nineteen credits may have contributed to that, on top of my job and volunteering at the radio station. In the long run though, I'm glad that I took the classes that I did. I have no doubt that I will finish the quarter with a strong gpa.
I wish I had more time to spend with friends, it seems like I seem them less and less all the time. I don't want people to think that I hate them. I really don't hate many people. With the end of the school year almost here, I want to try and spend time with everyone as much as possible before we all disperse to our separate corners of the world, no matter how close together they may be.
In old news, my ipod broke about six weeks ago. I took it into Best Buy to have it fixed. When I finally got it back and brought it home, it still didn't fucking work right. It honestly got me so irritated. Now I have to take it back in and let them fix it again. At least its all on Best Buy's dollar and not mine, that would really piss me off if I had to pay for it.
Last Sunday was Tiger Army, which was amazing. I was a little sad to see that Fred Hell wasn't drumming for the band anymore, but it was still an amazing show. I got to hang out with Tate, Shane and Travis too, which was a total plus.
Next Tuesday is Millencolin. I got a set of tickets through the radio station and Epitaph, so I get to go for free, plus there is a possibility that I'll get to interview them, which would be amazing. I've been listening to these guys since about eighth or ninth grade and they were one of the first bands to really get steer me towards the music that I listen to today. Needless to say I'm looking forward to it.
Mashi and his friend are supposed to come to the show with me. It will be awesome if they can, Mashi is hilarious and I really want to go to a good punk rock show with him besides Warped Tour. Fernando better come too. He said that he wants to, but hes isn't sure, so I'm supposed to keep hassling him about it.
I'm sure there is probably something else that I could talk about, but I think I've type myself out, so until next time...
