I guess this counts as my one a week...
These questions are to me from Alison. Read them, then comment and I will ask you five questions of my own, at which point you can then answer...
1. Dan, why is it that you're awesome? Do tell.
I really don’t know how to answer this, so I’m going to say its all in how I was raised, that or it is a genetic trait passed on to me by my parents. Either way, I think it all adds up to the fact that my parents are awesome and it somehow rubbed of onto me.
2. How come I'm bad at Donkey Konga and you're really good?
Again this is a question that I really can’t answer for certain, but I think that it really has something to do with the fact that I own the Gamecube and therefore the game stays with me, so I have more opportunity to play it. I also think that natural rhythm might contribute a bit.
3. Tomorrow, road trip to anywhere: where would you go and why?
The real question is where wouldn’t I go, and my choices are kind of limited to the land mass that I live on, so I'm just going to list a few choice destinations: California, mainly the San Francisco area, and a majority of the east coast, especially New York and Chicago. Then who knows, maybe I would go to Mexico or parts of Canada.
4. Who is your role model/biggest influence(s)?
I’ll definitely have to say that my parents have had the greatest influence on the way I live my life. There have been numerous other people that I have looked up to as artists, musicians, ect., but as far as how I live my life and treat those around me, everything that I have learned and wish to become is modeled around my parents.
5. If you were planning a tour, what four bands would you pick and why?
Almost anyone who knows me probably realizes that Alkaline Trio will have to be on this tour. Then if I could reunite the Misfits lineup that included Danzig, Only and Doyle, they would have a certain spot. Freddy Mercury would have to be resurrected so Queen could make an appearance. Finally I think that I would have to pick Green Day to round it all off.
