Yesterday or the day before I had one of those half-dreams right before I woke up that I was watching an episode of MLP:FIM and Pinkie Pie was singing a song to the tune of a song I know exists, but I can't think of what it is. Song Tapper seems to be down, and Musipedia is giving me way too many results based on what I remember/know to be even remotely helpful. So here's what I have:

It's an instrumental, possibly a classical song.

Fast-paced tempo, almost "wacky"-sounding. I feel certain I've heard it in Looney Tunes at least once. Or at least a cartoon, or a commercial for a cartoon. It's very "cartoony", is my point.

It is not that circus calliope music (the "deet-deet-deedeleet-deet-deet-dee-dee-dee" music) or the Can-Can (at least, I don't think it's that. What I remember of the Can-Can isn't what's in my head, anyway)

The part I know for certain goes like "dah-dah-DAH-dah-dah-dah-dah, DAH-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah... (italics are higher, bolded is lower, caps are pretty high) The length of each individual note (p sure there's a term for that but if there is I've forgotten it :p ) is fairly consistent, I think they might all be quarter- or possibly eighth-notes? Also, except for where the comma is, there are no breaks/rests (at least in this part).

edit: If it helps, the Parsons code to what I remember goes like this (with the space being the rest/pause): *UUDRDR UDRUDDR (U: higher note, D: lower note, R: same note as immediately preceding)

music, music classical, music instrumental
