I've tried looking on YouTube for this but all I seem to get are newer versions. This is an older version that I remember seeing in one of my grandma's music books, so I think it must have only gone to the the early 1900's or so.
It goes like this:
(George? Our?) Washington was number one
and Adams number two
Third Jefferson the race did run
Fourth Madison we view
Monroe was fifth with much good will
Then John Q. Adams won
And seventh Andrew Jackson proved how true ruling's done
PS. My mom used to play it for me on the piano so I could sing along, which is why I know the first verses so well. But sadly, I don't know where the song book went.
