Looking for a mystery author/books - kind of noir feel
I'm looking for a mystery writer and two of his/her books. Probably publication date in 1990s. I got the books in a bargain bin somewhere, but they were new hardbacks.. One I think was about a DJ, possibly supernatural but I don't think it was Kitty and the Midnight Hour/Carrie Vaughn. The other one was about an old book author, maybe he cut a deal with the devil to write a blockbuster in the early part of last century, but now had lost popularity. Ring any bells?
