YA Zombie book
I saw a video the other day that reminded me of this YA book I had started to read but don't think I ever finished.
The video was about a family trying to be self-sufficient and they had turned their outdoor (disused) swimming pool into a greenhouse with a pond of tilapia fish in it, above which were chickens - the chicken manure fed the algae which fed the fish. I'd only heard of this method once before - in the zombie book.
It might not actually have been zombies but it was definitely post-apocalyptic. There was a young girl and her brother, they had been with their father but he had gone out and hadn't come back.
I think I started it around December, it would have been published in the last few years if not around then.
Pretty sure it was set in America.
