FOUND! Christmas Movie on a Ranch

***FOUND! very quickly, thanks to shamethebells!*** It's called What I Did For Love.

It's that time of year again and I'm ready to watch some adorably cheesy Christmas movies. I saw one last year around this time that I can't, for the life of me, remember the name of. It was a tv movie (on Lifetime, Oxygen, Hallmark, or ABC Family most likely).

The premise was that a man and woman had met in the big city (probably NYC) and were in a relationship (engaged, I think). He was a city guy but she was originally from the country. For the holidays they went back to her home on a ranch and he met her family for the first time. Her mother had passed away (not sure if that was recent or not), so it was just her dad and brothers. They gave her fiance/boyfriend a really hard time and didn't want to accept him at first.

A few other things I remember: They did a lot of chores around the ranch and the fiance had no idea what to do but was happy to help out. I think at one point he woke up in the middle of the night and for some reason went outside but the house alarm went off and freaked everyone out. They rode horses a few times during the movie and one pivotal scene near the end was that one of the horses had gotten out (the fiance's fault maybe?) and he went to look for it by himself. But he had taken the wilder horse and ended up getting knocked off while up in some desert-like cliffs. The horse abandoned him and he was lost and spent the night holed up in the cliffs. The woman's family didn't know what happened to him but the wild horse came back later and they assumed he had taken it. They eventually found him in the cliffs.

This was a really recent tv movie. Like I said, I watched it around Christmas in 2012 and it might have even come out around that same time. I feel like I knew the actor who played the main male character while watching it, but I can't remember who it was now!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give. =D
