Vague search is vague?
I'm looking for a thing that might be a book but it could be a movie but I'm not sure either way. But I don't remember the beginning beginning of the thing but at some point the main character is this super smart dude who as a kid/teenager wrote this code or program or something that made him semi famous. He did like a tour circuit for a while before he got bored and I want to say ran away. Then it skips forward a bunch of years and he's working as a delivery person. And one day he delivers something to this bookstore and while he's in the bookstore the old clerk recognize him. And he sort of freaks out and then something happens.
What am I thinking of guys?
It also quite possibly could have been a tv show but I'm pretty sure it's not but I won't rule that out.
