(no subject)
So my fiance' and I were talking the other night and we both have a vague idea of a part of a movie plot in our heads, but neither of us can remember what movie it is. All we remember is that the main character (or maybe the biggest supporting character?) was talking about when she was a small child, her parents would put her in her room and whenever she tried to leave, the door was locked. He remembers her saying something about how the experience didn't bother her, or made her stronger somehow.
I also remember that when they were talking about the room she had as a child, it was lightly colored and airy.
I know this is the most vague of vague references. Does it sound familiar to anyone?
