90's movie
Okay this is a shot in the dark, I doubt anyone will know it.
When I was younger, I would always rent out this movie from the library but for the life of me I can't remember the name.
All I remember is that it's about a girl named Amy (I'm 90% sure that's her name) and she was kind of a loner at school. She tries to make friends with various classmates but they were all weird in some way. She had a little sister named Hannah who was the classic annoying little sister, and she had a guy friend ( I think his name is Peter) who lived next door or something but she didn't really like him.
She also had a huge crush on this boy in her class and he invites her to his birthday party. So she decides that she wants to buy him a supersoaker or a jumbo water gun or something, but her parents won't spend the money on it and so she has to find her own way of buying it and getting it to him. I think at the end he ends up not even liking her in the first place, and then she meets a new boy who likes her. Actually, I think she might have moved and became the new girl and that's why she was a loner and had no friends...
