Okay, so here's with the controversy, but anyone remember Virginia Tech? Yeah? Okay, good... now, around that time, a similar situation happened at another college. Gunman comes of campus, starts trying to blow people away. But unlike Virginia Tech, which has a gun ban on campus, students on the campus in question were carrying concealed. They held

According to wikipedia, it wasn't exactly "armed students held the shooter hostage".

After killing the Dean (who was his target) and two others present, the gunman was leaving. Two students met him with their guns drawn and kept him under control until help arrived. What should be noted is that both students were law enforcement, and neither was carrying their gun with them. Both had left their sidearms in their vehicles, and ran to get them when they heard gunshots.
