So, somewhere around 2005-2006, my parents took me to see a play. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the play. I'm pretty sure it's two female names, like Laverne & Shirley or something--in that format. I think the names are also kiiiind of old-fashioned, but I'm not positive. I keep wanting to say ______ & Maude, but that's probably just because of Harold and Maude.

The cast is very small: I think there were less than five or six characters, maybe.

I think the two women, or one of the women, or one of the other characters, created a delicious candy (Buckyballs? Buckeye balls? [though they're not new, wtf?!], fudge balls? Something like that) and are having a dinner party to celebrate or maybe to woo would-be investors. I think someone gets shot over the course of the night--at least one person. Maybe they were trying to steal the recipe? I don't know. I do know, however, that right before intermission, everyone's going crazy throwing the candy (which is why I remember that they are balls) at each other.

Does anyone have any bleeding clue what play this could be?

EDIT Just kidding, everyone, I just remembered the name! It's Norma and Wanda. I *knew* there were peanut butter balls, but I think I also made up some of the story. Oops!

!found, play
