Many years ago I found a recipe on the inside label of a can of sweetened condensed milk (more specifically, an Eagle Brand can). Sadly, it's no longer on their cans. I've searched their site & other recipe sites online & cannot find it.
All I remember about the recipe is that it was for a no bake pie. It had (for sure) cherry pie filling in it. I believe there was shaved coconut as well. I also know that the recipe didn't have many ingredients at all. My parent's believe it had Cool Whip on top, however I don't think it did as I've never been found of Cool Whip & I loved the shit out of this pie.
I *think* you mixed everything together in one bowl & just dumped it into a pre-made pie shell (chocolate was what I always used, but I'm not sure if the recipe specifically called for chocolate or not).
It's driving me nuts. I know we kept the recipe, but it got lost in a house fire a year or so ago. Anyone know what I'm talking about? This was something that even my extended family liked, which is incredibly rare. They want the recipe as well, but I'm so doing this just for my love of this damn pie.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
EDIT: Found. Thanks to
katnapped! :D
