Trying to identify a dance song!
- kinda old. I'm guessing late 90s-early 00s? I'm sure it was a fairly popular song because I heard it on a compilation CD back in the day. Its not just some random youTube-backwater bedroom mix.
- female vocalist, but she's probably guesting on a DJ's song. Quite a strong, powerful voice- she's pretty much singing her lungs out in that chorus line.
- heavy basline with a synthy instrumental bit simmilar to Dj Sammy's 'Heaven' (not the same melody, just that 'style' of synth)
- The lyric bouncing round my head is something like "I wanna take you away" (it could even be "You wanna take me away"). She sings it like "I wanna TAKE YOOOOOU....AWAY....derp derp derp-derp derp derp-derp...I wanna TAKE YOOOOOU...AWAY...etc, etc..." I'm pretty confident those lines must be part of the chorus too.
