I need to know what something is called, so that I can google it. What I want to be able to do is cook one dish, then carry over the leftovers for a night or two.
What I mean is, say you make a chicken with the trimmings. Then the next night you make chicken tacos with the leftovers. Then the third night, you make chicken soup from the bones. I want that but without meat. Part of my problem is that I don't know what it's called. I tried "cooking with vegetarian leftovers" and got nowhere. I know there must be a term for doing that, but I don't know what it would be.
