Children's... show?

The question mark is because I am rather unsure if this WAS a show. I saw it on TV, but it might have been a movie or a special.

It was geared towards children. Around 2002-ish, maybe? I think I saw it either on Nick Jr. (back when that was still a part of Nickelodeon itself) or possibly Playhouse Disney. One of those kids' blocks. It featured the classic "humans interacting with colorful puppets" bit. The main puppet was a cat, I believe.

I only saw it once, but I remember this specifically: There's a point where the cat (or someone else?) sings a song that was, strangely, to the tune of "Daydream Believer" by the Monkees. It went sort of like (forgive me if this is wrong, it's been years) "Cheer up, Little Jane, something something, I know you still like Spencer and I know he's still your friend."

Any ideas?

Edit: FOUND! It's Whoopi's Littleburg.
