this is probably off-topic and I apologize
but I have a HP photosmart C3180 printer/scanner, and I never used it to scan before. I recently got a new computer and just plug the computer into the printer, and it prints fine. But when I try to scan things (put them in the printer/scanner and press scan), nothing happens. I should probably install something maybe? But I don't have the printer CD anymore since I've had the printer for like two years. Is there any way I can get my computer to recognize that I am trying to scan something?
