computer game
There was this computer game I use to play on my aunt's computer (Windows 90's most likely) when I was like 7 or something and it was a chess game/tutorial that was magic themed. It featured a cartoon-looking magician (Merlin being his name I think I recall) with a blue robe & pointy hat to match with stars and moons over his clothing with the long white beard.
More info: Instead of the traditional computer chess game the pieces in this one, say for instance, the knight would make a gallop sound when it moved sometimes and pieces *poof* when they are taken out.
