(no subject)
Okay, this might sound weird, but bear with me…
My brother watched all of the extended versions of Lord of the Rings, but he has also seen all of the regular versions and their extended features (he must have been pretty bored one weekend…)
Anyway, he was telling me about a special feature where they talked about the ring itself and how they did the close-up shots of it. He said that to show the inscription and detail, they actually used a giant ring for the close-up shots of the ring alone, and that they showed a guy polishing this giant (bowling ball sized he said) version of the One Ring.
I said I wanted to see that part because I just thought it would be funny to see and he said he didn’t remember which disc it was on of what movie or whether it was even the extended or the regular version that had it on it.
So…yeah, does ANYONE know where to find this on one of the versions of one of the movies? My brother has literally spent days of his life trying to find it again and he can’t for the life of him find it. It’s driving him nuts.
I also asked him "could it have been on an awards show that you saw and they were talking about the special effects and showed clips of the different things that went into them?" and he said "Yeah…that could be"
So um…yeah…HELP!
