old mtv show
I remember this old mtv show about a friend pranking another friend into meeting their favorite band or singer. For example: two friends would go play pool and then the band that the one person likes would be there playing pool too. One friend was in on it and the other friend thought it was a coincidence and shocked/excited/happy! It's their favorite band!
I remember this only because it was my favorite band too. Incubus was on the show and I remember it was a blond girl who got pranked. Incubus, the fan, and the accomplice were playing spin the bottle at one point. It would have had to been on in the late 90's or early 2000's. Some people have told me that it was called FANatic, but I thought that show was about becoming like your favorite celebrity.
