I've posted this once before but no one was able to figure out what I was talking about. Maybe it doesn't exist but I'm so sure I've seen it before.
It's a black and white photo of a woman in a dress walking down a street which is lined with what looks like a cafe, perhaps a french cafe. There are men sitting at the tables and they're not leering at her but just looking at her. She wears a very confident expression as she walks past them.
This is not
Ruth Orkin's American Girl in Italy although it sounds similar. The men were definitely sitting down and had friendlier expressions on their faces.
Any help would be great - even just listing some photographers that are similar to Ruth Orkin or
Alfred Eisenstaedt might help. I've been looking for this photo for so long; any help is appreciated! Thanks!
