Subscription Cards and Binder for Teenage Girls

Jun 08, 2009 15:29

I think this must have been in the late '80s.  It a subscription product/club in which you'd get cards (I think monthly) to collect and put in a binder (also supplied by the company).  It was geared toward teenage girls and the cards came in different categories like fashion, beauty, school, food and entertaining, etc.

I remember a few of the cards pretty clearly.  One was a fashion card that gave tips on how to add "pizzazz" (their word, not mine) to an outfit with accessories like a beret, a men's necktie or funky socks.  Another card gave hair tips, including a beer rinse.  There was also a card that had recipes for throwing a Mexican-themed party.  And I remember there was some card about etiquette and looking your best that showed a drawing of a put-together girl gettting attention from a guy while a scruffy-looking girl (with runs in her stockings and scuffed-up shoes) looked on.

Does anyone know what this was called or have any photos of it?
