oh, college radio.

HARD QUESTION FIRST: I'm trying to find a song I last heard almost four years ago on college radio, so my ID abilities are not exactly up to snuff, but here's a go-round anyway.

I liked the song so much I e-mailed the dj about it, and he e-mailed me back saying the name of the band was Osibasa, though Google informs me Osibisa might be a better bet. I'm not sure if these are different bands. The radio show usually played acid jazz / fusion, and the dj compared the band in question to the Gotan Project, so.

The name of the song is "Point Dark", but it seems the song doesn't appear on any proper albums. The dj told me he ganked the song from a one-hour acid jazz set and thus couldn't exactly e-mail me the entire 60MB file, which is why I don't have it today. So I guess I'm looking for the file, or the song, or potential leads to either, or confirmation of the correct spelling of the band, or a door prize of sorts.

EASY QUESTION SECOND: I'm also looking to identify a super-short (maybe acoustic?) indie song I heard on... wait for it... college radio yesterday. There was some Heatmiser / "Not Half Right" business going on in the lyrics (the "when I talk to you on the phone / it's just like being alone" line that Jimmy Eat World also riffed), but I can't remember exactly what the words were. The chorus is a little like "You don't belong in a creepy song with me"? That was the sentiment, anyway. Any ideas?
