A son, a father, and a set of keys. [SOLVED]

Mar 06, 2009 12:19

This is probably a short story.

There's a son dealing with his father's recent death. He has inherited a set of keys.

The keys are labeled in such a way so that whoever finds them won't know what they are.

The house key doesn't say "House," it would be some kind of puzzle, like... "Hugh Laurie," only that isn't in the story.

Eventually he figures out where all the keys go to.

Possibly David Sedaris, possibly something from NPR, possibly a recent short story.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I stumbled upon this while going through my You Tube favorites today! It's actually a poem by Taylor Mali.
