I have no idea where she got it. Knowing her, she could have had it for months.

The less pleasant idea is that a warden gave it to her, and I'm not ready to say that yet.

In theory, dealing with the source is easier.

Unfortunately, we aren't the most cooperative bunch. If she did get it off someone, we've got a fifty-fifty chance of everyone actually looking to check - and that's if you don't immediately discount the people who don't keep track of their belongings - and another third of those people might not actually report it because I'm willing to bet some people here don't want to be the reason Amanda Young killed someone. Again.

...I wonder if I can put a tracking device on her.

It would help me know where else she's been. Let's say she's getting the weapons from inmates; at least this way I'll have an overview of her daily habits.
