children in need had me in TEARS. why am i such a sap for these things? so i thought to myself hmm you know i really don't NEED to go out on saturday night, i'll give the money to children in need instead, so i did, and now sammy (friend sammy not boyfriend sammy) is grumpy at me for not coming out :S
blegh, family gatherings. had one on saturday night (INSTEAD OF GOING CLUBBING) at my "aunt" kirsty and "uncle" harry's (my stepdad's sister and her boyfriend), it was fun because i love kirsty to bits and her three kids are pretty much my cousins, however i met harry's sister and her husband for the first time and i just really couldn't talk to them and hardly fitted in at all. i was wearing a really nice black jumper dress and flat black leather boots from topshop with some black tights and so this is how the conversation between harry's sister's husband (who is about 30) and myself went...

me - ".....architecture?"

p.s. - i am going to the pit that is leeds again this weekend... is it going to be much colder there than it is here? should i take wellies in case of snow? i know it is currently snowing in sheffield yet i have no idea how near to leeds sheffield is...
