In my head it is Christmas already. It has been since the beginning of August, since the Selfridges Christmas Shop opened. For me this marks the beginning of Christmas each year, and in the first few days that it's open I always go and buy my Mum a little 10 pound present- two years ago it was a china nativity scene, last year it was a snow blobe with father christmas and a reindeer in it and robins and things on the outside, this year it was a music box that plays jingle bells :P
I honestly can't wait until the lights are all up and you can't leave the house without hearing The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole. Yay.
I'm meant to be going shopping for Sam's birthday present today to Oxford Street with Matt but he isn't answering his phone. Argh. And I can't go with Pete or Sammy as I saw them last night (also why is it that I only have male friends left in London?) so I don't know what to do. I don't feel like going on my own yet I love buying presents so I am definitely going...
