...I will try to make sense of all the crazy yet strangely arousing events that have happened in the past few days.
On the 3rd, the BlueBerry Johnsons (sketch group) got back together and performed for a small audience of family and friends.....and that one strange old bald man who kept winking at us.
Anyways, I like to think that the show was a success, due to the fact that most of the sketches were written and practiced in about a 3 day span. It also helped that everyone was in the 4th of July spirit.
(Seriously. The highlight of the night was when we came out singing Glory Glory Hallelujah in nothing but watermelon rhine helmets and red white and blue underwear.)
My parents even enjoyed the show, except for what they called "extreme sexual content". As you see, my parents are on the extremely religious side of our family, and have never actually watched any of our videos. I think if they saw "Guys Gone Wild" they would go into shock and have to be committed.
After that was the 4th of July, of course. The only day of the year where blowing shit up is patriotic. Bottle Rocket wars were had, as we set off our own mini war on terrorism in the giant open field beside my house. Apparently, the shit hit then fan when an extremely volatile bottle rocket hit Keith, and thus it turned from "Bottle Rocket War" to "Run the Hell Away From Keith Before He Beats You Unconscious".
This morning I woke up around 9:30, jogged, and came back to shower. Since it hasn't flooded today, I got on my bike armed with my new dv cam and set out to find interesting things to film. What I've found since I started filming arounrd town last year is that people will do almost anything on camera. I was able to convince a guy to hump one of the gator statues on Campus, and then I was able to discover and discuss the secret of "Free Karma" from the local Hairy Krishnas and their lunch cart.
The new AAF is great.
Plans for tonight are vague. Who knows...
