Some things:
The Dell and I have parted ways. It's off to do its own thing on its own time, and has taken everything I'd done since June with it. Every photo. Every journal entry. Every iTunes playlist. All jet-setted off for The Void. I wish it luck. Meanwhile, I am making friends with a new computer. It isn't quite my style, but it does have Vista, so I now I have the Windows version of widgets (they're called "gadgets").
Living in an apartment instead of a dorm? Upgrade. Enoying an unprecedented level of privacy, cooking for myself and not wearing shower sandals. The only bad thing is that countless trips to Target over the past month for shower racks, bathroom rugs, paper towels and wooden spoons have made this once exciting outing more like pulling teeth.
There is life after Honors, and it is excellent. Not being able to predict exactly what people will say when they raise their hands in class is a new and exhilirating phenom, as is actually enjoying the subject matter of ALL of my classes. Also, rediscovering American Lit (Long Day's Journey Into Night is the best play evereverever) and discovering "postcolonial feminist theory." The work load however, even with one less class, is not any lighter--I have to do 24 sketches for Design and Color by tomorrow.

Last night I had a dream that I actually worked up the courage to ask my roommate to wash the dishes once in a while and she started crying and stopped talking to me. I woke up thinking she was still mad at me, but then I saw the kitchen sink and remembered that it was all a dream.
The weather here is just shitty. It's doing the sideways-mist thing, where you get soaking wet and all your makeup runs, but you don't notice it until you get home, look in the mirror and realize you look like crap.
Ah, Seattle.
