spring fling.
So we're going to the petting zoo tomorrow as Toushirou's easter treat (he didn't like the bunny outfit last year, it was really hard getting him to wear the leotard), since it falls kinda late this year there should be plenty of baby animals, and I'm willing to bet they'll let him hold one or two. Toushirou's really good with animals anyhow, I think it's on account of his generally calm, quiet nature. Also he's pretty small and unthreatening.
Anyone who wants to is welcome to come along, we're just gonna walk there. It'll be in the afternoon because first I gotta call my parents and lie about church.
It's not like I mind going or anything, I probably would if I was home, but I guess it's not Toushirou's deal and anyhow I don't really have many church outfits anymore. I don't think God has any idea how hard it is finding tops that button up all the way to the neck. Usually it's a bit like wearing a tent.
Actually I always liked Palm Sunday best, because they give you those little woven crosses at the end of the service. I think that souvenirs could be the way to bring more people back to the fold, I mean I would totally go more regularly if they gave out goody bags, or had a lucky dip or something. Maybe a raffle. Jesus was all about free stuff. Remember the feeding of the five thousand? I'm just saying. Maybe they should do sermons over lunch?
Anyway, if you're coming to the zoo with us just make sure you dress right. It'll probably be muddy, so I figure heels are good - the higher they are the less chance of getting dirt on your jeans.
