Super easy and yummy! Serve with rice
Ingedients:
1 lb of pork ribs (whichever you like)
4 slices of bacon (if you have no bacon, ham or some spicy sausage should taste good too)
1/2 onion
1 tomato (or do without it)
1 can of red kidney beans
1 can of black beans
3 cloves of garlic or garlic powder works too
salt, pepper, if you like it spicy some hot sauce or chili powder, a bit of oregano
bit of parsley or dill or cilantro (if you have any fresh)
water
flour to thicken the sauce
1) Brown ribs on a skillet (didn't use any oil)
2) Chop the onions and tomato and fry for couple minutes just to soften
3) Slice the bacon and fry for a bit as well (no oil)
4) Throw all of the above in a slowcooker
5) Add drained beans and cover with water (I used 2 cups of water because I like sauce)
6) Salt and pepper and let it cook till ribs are cooked through (i put it on 4 hours on high but that was too much)
7) When its almost ready sprinkle some flour on top but don't stir to avoid clumps. Liquid will absorb the flour and it will be thicker
8) Chop the greens and add garlic
Ta da!!!
