beef stew with zuchinni?

I hope this gets vetted and put up soon so I have time to implement any suggestions.

Here's my problem.

I have compiled in the crock pot, a stew consisting of:

beef chunks, dredged in flour, celery salt, seasoning salt and herbes de province, and lightly browned in olive oil
potatoes
half an onion
fresh parsley from the garden
a cup of red wine
a can of condensed beef broth
a can of water (same can from the beef broth)
garlic paste
a couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce

I have used these ingredients because that was what was lying around the kitchen.

Also lying around the kitchen is a mutant zuchinni - positively huge and needing to be used in... something.  If I put chunks of fresh zuchinni in with what I've listed above, do you think it will taste good?  I personally don't like zuchinni but it's good for me so I try to put it in food that will mask the flavour (like pasta sauce).  I've never tried stew.

I've currently got the crock set to cook for 8 hours and I was intending on putting some frozen veggies (probably including green beans) in at the end so there would be vegetables in it.  But the zuchinni is right there and making this strange demand that I add it to the stew.

Should I listen?  Has anyone on here ever added zuchinni to beef stew?

beef, stew
