Crock Pot Mac n Cheese

I checked in the tags and couldn't find this recipe I tried today so I thought I'd share.

I found the recipe here: http://www.macaronicheeserecipes.com/CrockPot.htm.

Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

1 16oz. box of elbow macaroni, cooked and drained

1 12 oz. can of evaporated milk

2 cups sharp shredded cheese

1 cup mild shredded cheese

2 eggs

1/2 stick butter

1 tsp. salt

Directions
Place all ingredients into crock pot reserving a small amount of cheese.  Stir well and sprinkle reserved cheese on top.  Cook 3 and 1/2 hours on low.

I altered the recipe a little bit. I omitted the eggs on accident (I was rushing to get to class) and I used seasoned salt and fresh ground pepper instead of plain salt. I also was in a rush to finish it for my kids so I cooked it on high for 1.5 hours. I added and mixed everything, set it to high, and ate when I returned home from class. It was delicious. Tangy, a little spicy, and not too wet. I really dislike wet mac n cheese.

I'll be using this recipe again because it's simple and fast. Next time I think I'll sneak some diced veggies in there and experiment with different cheeses.

The family and I really enjoyed I hope you do too!
