Snow Peas in the Crock - yay or nay?

Mar 18, 2009 14:09

I'm putting together the Easy Chicken Teriyaki that was posted the other day for dinner tonight, and picked up some snow peas to go with it.

Think i can throw them in the crock and let them cook all day? Or should i just throw them in for the last 20 mins or so? (That's when i'll get home.)

Advice appreciated! :)

Not too good, in my case. My chicken burned and dried out, despite using the amount of sauce and the juice from the pineapple. Maybe my crock's too big for it though... :(

i have a tiny crock (2qt) i got for $4 at walmart around xmas -- it works much better for smaller meals.

Nice! I think mine's a 6. Think it was too shallow. Or on too long, though it was on low. *sigh* Oh well. Jay's going to get dunk's for us instead haha.

Mine was falling apart too, haha, but overdone. Perhaps it was in too long, it was like 7-8 hours while i was at work.
