Lilah looked at the clock and smiled. Wes should be up, even if she did feel guily about Dekkon she loved Wes. She hoped the mark on her neck was gone, as she dialed his number.
Wes answered the phone, rubbing his eyes. He still couldn't seem to sleep. "Hello."
"Hey Lover. How are you today?" Lilah sat back in her chair twirling it so she could look out the window.
"Lilah?" Wesley sounded slightly surprised. "I would have thought you were still upset with me."
"Baby, I said I would call." Lilah sighed a little, hoping that he wasn't still angry at her.
"Oh, yes you did, didn't you." Wesley went into the kitchen and started making some coffee. "I'm sorry. I haven't been sleeping well. How are you feeling?" He leaned on the counter.
"Other than tired from not sleeping not bad." Lilah replied thinking for a millisecond about why else she was tired. "What are your plans for the day?"
"Hadn't really given it much thought. Since Giles and all seem to be settling, I was going to see about finding Ryanne's attacker." He fought a yawn.
"Oh, that sounds.....productive.' Lilah answered quietly. Once again, someone else is coming first.......stop that. "Would you like to meet for dinner?"
Wesley knew that tone of her voice. He'd heard it often enough before he'd left for England. "Dinner would be fine."
"Wonderful. Would you like me to cook honey?" Lilah remebered back to Hell. Funny their meals there had been some of the happiest times of their life together.
Wesley smiled a little. "That would be lovely. Would you like to do it here or at your place?"
"Which ever would please.......your place please." Lilah stopped herself from the behavior that irrated Wesley the most hoping the lapse didn't bother him.
"Alright." He rubbed his eyes again. " I'll leave the door unlocked in case I fall asleep before you get here."
"Thank you Wesley." Lilah wanted to say more but lately whatever she said angered him. "Wesley I love you."
"I love you as well." He shook his head to stay awake. "I'll see you when you get here."
"If you're asleep, I'll try not to disturb you. I'll wake you when your meal is ready." Lilah smiled, for a second it seemed like old times.
"See you in a while then." Wesley gave up on coffee and went back into the other room and lay on the sofa. "Perhaps we'll be able to work out a few things while you're here."
"That would be nice." Lilah smiled a little intrigued. "What sort of thing?" She looked out the window and had a flash of a late night phone call, make when they were still alive the first time. She snickered a little. "Oh Wesley, I'm not wearing panties."
Wesley smiled, his eyes closed. "Well, that does present a problem doesn't it. I'll have to find something else for you to do."
"Hmm, and what would that be Lover?" Lilah smirked as she saw her refection in the mirror. "I have been such a bad girl. Doing that nasty lawyer thing."
"I see. Well then, I suppose I shall have to be more creative." He thought for a second, trying not to fall asleep at the same time. He grinned. "I know. I want you to bring yourself right to the edge of orgasming. Then I awnt you to stay that way until you're here." He chuckled a little. "And I want you to try not to let on to anyone." He hung up the phone, wondering if that was something that fit what she wanted from him.
Lilah blushed as she hung up the phone and told Dekkon to hold her calls. She had work to do. Very interesting work.
