i wish that i was listening to patti's second album, radio ethiopia. while no album on earth can touch her first record, the second one has a mood to it that is absolutely incredible. somehow the production is spacious and sticky, thick and humid like it was recorded in a sauna and it all leads up to the cracked static tangle of the title track..
another painting at oats' is going really well. all i had was a tube of black paint, a small detail brush & linseed oil. i feel really really good about this one. maybe tomorrow i can work on the acrylic painting.
