So, as previously mentioned, during Dead Week (the week right before Finals Week, where technically the professors "aren't allowed to assign homework or give tests"...a week also defined as "bullshit" by many college students across the country due to the falsity of this claim.), I sort of stopped taking care of myself because of all the work I had to do and such, and with a 36 hour stretch of no eating, sleeping, or...yeah, ok, drinking anything but a cup of coffee I sort of...ended up in the Student Health Center emergency room with dehydration. So since then, I've been trying to drink more, and today I decided to start trying the whole "2 Liters of water a day" deal, since it's highly encouraged by medical professionals everywhere.
Only, I can't exactly figure out why it's so highly encouraged. My tummy is all sloshy, I've had to pee about thirty times today, and the very idea of drinking any more liquid is making me feel faintly nauseous, and I'm not even finished with the two liters yet. I don't see how this can be good for you. If someone poked me with a pin right now, I'd probably sploosh all over the place like a water balloon.
