Not really McLovi' S2 settings

for the better part of 3 hours I've been trying to configure my lj....okay not exactly 3 hrs. I had been able to find an image hosting page, make supper, a load of dishes, adjust the background image on my fic lj. That when I finally got back to trying to fix my lj settings by looking for another journal style where I can easily use my current folders without having to upload a crap ton of pics and files from my main computer, since I'm now using my laptop, but when I try choosing from the styles available really doesn't give the edit ability I had with the old S1 format and css. I've found the S2 I'm not really able to edit it as many have claimed.

I just wish there were a way I could continue using similar formatting as I once did.

I guess the technology Gods are against me at the moment
