Mini update/Namárie
Well Dad's in the nursing home and seems to be adjusting fine - for his first night. Now I just hope that if Mum finally decides to go and visit she doesn't be her usually lovely self or she's going to find herself in a whole lot of legal trouble.
I explained (extremely nicely) what she's like without making her sound like a royal bitch.... okay, okay she is a royal bitch, but I'm trying to be nice here. Anywhoo... one of Dad's CCA/PCW's listen and reassured me that if she tries to start anything, then she's not only asked to leave, but her name is sent to the D of J that deals with Seniors Protective Services and be in a mess of trouble. And even if she got a lawyer in retaliation, she'd still be on the losing end. So I hope for her sake she doesn't pull the same shit over at Dad's new residence, that she did with the hospital and with nursing staff where Nan lived.
Anywhoo... I'm going to visit a little more, since his new place is closer and the fact that I'm no longer sick w/chest cold & bronchitis - and won't have the nurses on my case about being in the hop while sick like a few people who visited their family member while in transition.

Off to bed, I'll be driving the ol' man into work this morning not that I have too (he's been on leave the past 2 weeks due to class scheduling and with the Canada Games). I've got my coffee group on base in the morning so it's on the way.
