I would like to postpone my birthday
I really would move my birthday to next week if I could. Lack of cash and birthday enthusiasm will indeed be a problem, but I'm somehow going to bring some festive spirit into my 17th April 27. I've decided to just ask for some cheap-ass, not-very-good-but-good-enough sushi from Kitaro (Little Tokyo would be exponentially better, but I'm saving the money for two separate birthday celebrations with the AC and CSB peeps).
In other news, aside from fixing the enlistment, enrollment and medical shit that I am sure will not take any less than a week of expensive Northbound travel, I have to start looking for my future living space in Quezon City. Any suggestions for a good dormitory? A tree with enough shade, perhaps? My parents are urging me to go for the cheapest option, which is going to a UP dorm. I am reluctant to follow their suggestion because I remember passing by Ilang-Ilang (or some other flower-themed dorm) and especially noticing how the window shutters were falling off their hinges and how creepy and rotten everything looked.
Okay, maybe I was trying not to vomit from Extreme Motion Sickness while on the Ikot while I caught a glimpse of the said building, but my thoughts are corrupted with the thought of (100% not based on legitimate empirical data on the) horrors of government-funded housing. But I guess I can't be a bitch about my parents opting for cheap housing. P25k a sem is half of CSB's, but transferring is setting me back by a lot. FA isn't exactly a cheap course, either.
There is the option of commuting to the North (From Paranaque) every fucking day. Oh dear Jesus.
