He didn't so much appear through a door or between steps as from a massive cloud of pink smoke and a shout of 'WEEEEHOOOO!' In fact, steps had nothing to do with it. "Thank you! I always forget to pack for that. And drinks can be drinkable, but there's all kinds of things you can do with most of them, considering some of the artificial flavorings and the acid content."

"There's acid in your stomach. And some in your mouth. Lots of the human body has acidic or basic qualities; on the whole, it's pretty pH balanced, but sure. It's not like it's the kind of acid that eats through plastic or anything. Well, most of it isn't. And not a lot."
