Let the good times roll

It was my brother and his girlfriends one year anniversary today. So Meg and I decided to take off for the day and let my brother have the place to himself. The weather was lousy though. Originally Meg and I had planned on checking out downtown T.O. for the day. But we opted against it. A day spent walking in a thunderstorm is never the kind of endeavor I'm up for. So instead we drove out to Scarborough Town Centre.

We spent the majority of the day walking through and just checking out the stores. Meg bought some cool clothes while I just sort of tried things on and thought of future days when I could actually afford them. Although Meg was kind enough to buy me a cool shirt that caught my eye. I didn't ask her to, but Meg is just the kind of person who can tell when something is going to get you excited. So she went ahead and bought it. Even though I protested, albeit half-heartedly. Thanks Megs!

After having checked out all of the stores in the mall we opted to catch "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest". It was pretty good. Although I'm still not sure how I will view the movie on sub-sequent viewings. *shrug*

We ended the night off with nachos and drinks at Casey's before packing it in for the evening. Over all it was a great day and it felt great to be kickin' it with Meg again.
