anthrax
i went in for the start of medical clearance for deployment yesterday. i have a couple more shots i have to come back for in 2 weeks as well as a dental appointment for next week... good dental hygene is a part of a successful deployment! >.>
so i got the start of my shots yesterday. 1 typhoid and 1 (of 3) anthrax shots. i should have had a smallpox shot as well, however because ash is pregnant and the shot can be contageous (as live virus's seem to be), that shot is deferred until i arrive in theater. let me just say... the anthrax shot rather sucked. much as i'm sure anthrax actually does. it was odd... they poked me, injected the stuff, and i just sat there for a couple of minutes. the tech watched me waiting for a reaction which went something like this: "that wasn't so bad... i thought this was supposed to burn or somethiii-OOOOOW! holy fuck that stings!"
my right arm was a bit sore today... i have pin-ups i should be working on... typing kinda hurts too though. bleh. (and yet... here i am)
i've started using facebook. i've had the account for a little while, but at first didn't understand the site very well. it's a little confusing at first... than and other than deviantart, i don't frequent social networking sites all that often.
anyways... gonna go lay down on something soft now.
